Electrical Technician needed for an immediate opening with our client in the Manchester NH area. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Candidates interested should have at least 5 years of relevant experience as an electrical and/or electro-mechanical technician. You will be responsible for assembling and testing multiple subassemblies and complete systems using hand and power tools, fixtures and templates. Please apply today!
Responsibilities for the Electrical Technician
Analyze and record test results, and prepare written testing documentation identifying possible test escapes and improvements.
Read schematics, diagrams, and technical documents to determine methods and sequences of assembly and test.
Repair, rework, and calibrate electro-mechanical assemblies and systems to meet operational specifications and tolerances.
Test performance of electromechanical assemblies, using test instruments such as oscilloscopes, digital meters, and other test equipment.
Develop and update stations for programming and testing various PCBs and subassemblies.
Requirements for the Electrical Technician
Practical knowledge of optical components and cameras
Practical knowledge of MS office including Word and Excel with the ability to capture and chart data to analyze and demonstrate data results
Troubleshooting skills by determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems including BOMs, drawings and other manufacturing documents
