Job Description:
Senior Performance EngineerThe RoleWe are seeking a top-tier Performance Engineer with AWS experience and a passion for Performance testing to join our team.
Reporting to the Team Lead of the Performance Automation & Testing Team, this role will be responsible for providing performance testing services across a diverse set of applications, technologies, and global teams as part of the Enterprise Technology Software Engineering Domain.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent 3-9 Years Performance Testing Experience required Extensive experience using JMETER Performance test tool Practical Experience AWS Experience required Strong Programming experience in at least two of the following:
Groovy, Bash, Java and Python Solid understanding of Jenkins Use of Grafana / Influx DB for Performance test reporting Working experience of version control tools such as Bitbucket Experience using Monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Datadog Excellent understanding of Systems Architecture, web technologies and operating systems Experience executing performance tests in an Agile environment (Kanban, Scrum) Able to Craft and execute automated performance tests using Jenkins to support Continuous integration Demonstrate ownership and accountability through self-directed task management on project delivery work and backlog items based on priority Demonstrate initiative to evaluate and recommend new tools and processes aligned to performance testing strategic objectives Good communication skills, both written and oral.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
The TeamWe are a dedicated team of Performance Engineers, who support the integration and delivery of performance testing in a CI/CD context working with teams across Enterprise Technology Global Sites.
We identify and implement innovative solutions to increase the scale and efficiency of Performance Testing and enable teams to assess this applications performance through our advisory and delivery services.
