Lead SDET - Test Automation Engineer (Java/Cucumber)
A large financial services institution is seeking midlevel to senior automation test engineers to join their growing team within the fund and investment operations organization.
In this role, you will be working with a team of technologists passionate about promoting testing practices, implementing test automation and executing testing with development and business partners! This individual will work in helping enable integration for this team.
They will work with the devops team to integrate smoke tests into the Jenkins pipeline.
We are looking for a team that can help reduce production incident and contribute to the smoke testing cycle specifically.
Ensuring the application is stable before testing after each deployment.
They will be responsible for testing all existing features and functions once code has been frozen, documenting the execution results and defects in xray, reviewing and updating the regression suites quarterly.
This individual will also be using core Java in order to build out frameworks.
This role will also require SQL experience for back end database validation and SQL to write basic queries and joins.
The ideal candidate will come from a software development background.

years of test automation development using Java-Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.
)-Experience with test automation tools such as Cucumber and Jenkins-Demonstrated experience in DevOps and CI/ CD pipelines.
- Solid experience with SQL to write queries and database validation Desired Skills- Selenium- Cypress- API testing Recommended Skills Continuous Integration Databases Dev Ops Information Technology Jenkins Manual Testing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
