We are currently sourcing for a Full Stack Engineer to work in Fidelity's Asset Management Group.
Asset Management Technologies is looking for a Senior Software Engineer passionate about developing software solutions to support High Income and Alternatives business.
The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for designing and building middle tier business services, Data APIs, deployment pipeline and test automation, and ensuring stability of systems by applying the best engineering, testing, deployment practices.
An ideal candidate for this role would be passionate about analyzing existing systems, understanding process and data flows, aspiring to improve quality, and chipping in to deliver innovative solutions working closely with data engineers.
This position is available in Merrimack, Boston, Raleigh, and Westlake.
The expertise and skills you bring Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related technical field.
6
years of experience in software development using object-oriented design with Java or similar languages.
Experience building and working with Rest services using frameworks like Spring, Mybatis, etc.
Extensive experience with test automation at different levels including unit, component, integration, and functional test, using tools like JUnit, Mockito and Cucumber.
Experience in client-side testing using frameworks, test runners and tools like Karate, Cypress, FitNesse and Gerkin/Protractor.
Working experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, Python and Snowflake.
Working knowledge of Event driven systems using Kafka Messaging platform.
Experience working with native AWS services and Cloud based infrastructure.
Proficiency in Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery practices using Git, Maven, Jenkins and deployment automation tools.
Knowledge of Financial Markets and specifically, Asset Management domain.
Experience working with agile methodologies, providing L3 support, and working as part of geographically distributed teams.
Excellent oral and written communication skills Curious and passionate about data, solving problems and eager to learn and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
The TeamThe Senior Software Engineer will be member of a global database development team that focuses on building scalable and optimized data solutions to satisfy High Income and Alternatives business needs.
This team has a deep understanding of business data needs, their products, and applications.
The team is responsible for providing end to end data engineering solutions, design and help build robust data access layers required by multiple applications, short cycle enhancements and lifecycle initiatives including the migration of the data platforms to a cloud-based solution.
Asset Management Technology (AM Tech) provides worldwide technology and support to all the Investment Management, Research, Trading, and Investment Operations functions.
AM Tech is an integral partner for Asset Management to deliver innovative, scalable, industry-leading investment tools that enable Asset Management to achieve competitive advantage globally.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
