Job Description:
The Role The Business Analyst Consultant will support the Fidelity Life Insurance Company (FILI).
The Consultant will collaborate with Squad Leaders, team members, and various business partners to execute on platform deliverables including, but not limited to, reporting, writing & executing test cases and supporting ad hoc requests from business partners.
In addition, the Consultant will work on key initiatives aimed at driving platform resilience and optimization.
In a typical week, the Consultant, who serves as a subject matter expert, will be responsible for all platform activity related to running and optimizing the business.
There will also be opportunities to partner with other squads to support FILI goals and initiatives.
Ultimately, this is a growth opportunity enabling the Consultant to develop their expertise and serve our customers.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring Bachelor s degree with 5-8 years of experience, with 1-2
years of those within Financial Services Familiarity with life insurance products, such as annuities, preferred Proficiency with SQL Strong execution background with the ability to multi-task and prioritize for efficiency and business need Ability to identify application and system issues, enhancements and requests by researching platform specifications, conferring with subject matter experts across the Enterprise Thinks strategically about the end-to-end process and how platform updates may impact the Squad and the business Evaluating, and making updates to, procedures and processes with an eye towards operational efficiency Has experience identifying and working with data to analyze, uncover opportunities, drive fact-based decision making and measure results Possesses customer focus with the ability to learn, identify, and clearly communicate opportunities that will improve the experience Translates strategic goals and ideas into action quickly, conceptualizing, developing, and delivering strategies that meet customer needs as well as regulatory and compliance needs Exhibits an Agile way of working with experience collaborating and translating business requirements into action for designers and developers Ability to build credibility and trust with diverse partners across retail and workplace and understands how to influence without authority Has intellectually curiosity, with a continuous improvement approach, and models a culture of learning and coaching The Team Fidelity Investments Life Insurance Company provides financial products that help Fidelity s investors achieve the lifetime financial goals.
