BAE Systems is looking for individuals having Antenna experience focused on developing innovative system architectures that provide capabilities for a wide variety of both manned and unmanned platforms. Providing both suppression and destruction of enemy air, ground and maritime defenses, BAE Systems develops RF technology for emitter sensing and exploitation, to include detection, identification and geo-location of enemy threats.
The candidate will be able to contribute to and lead areas in new innovative antenna designs that will ultimately lead to product development of complex payloads. The candidate will be capable of learning and working independently, harnessing natural curiosity to assimilate cross-disciplinary material, forge an understanding of the problem space, and develop the necessary skill sets to produce results.
Primary duties and responsibilities will include:
a. Develop new innovative and affordable antenna concepts in support of Radar, Communications, EW and EA missions.
b. Work with DARPA and other S&T government labs to advance antenna capabilities that will lead to the capture of new CRAD business
c. Build a portfolio of antenna business in first few years.
d. Perform the principal investigator role for advanced antenna CRAD programs.
e. Provide leadership for new CRAD business capture and proposal development activities, including defining win strategies, Price-to-Win, and managing new business funds.
f. Prepare and present technical briefings to peers, management and customer community.
g. Participate and lead high level brainstorming meetings resulting in innovative winning system solutions to difficult problems.
h. Work with BAE Systems' Business Areas to understand future needs and transition discriminating technology to these adjacent product lines
Required Education:
Bachelor''s degree in an Engineering or Scientific field or equivalent and 12
years related experience
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will have good critical thinking skills, requiring highly constrained deductions to relatively unconfined big picture reasoning skills. The candidate will excel at problem solving and have the ability to produce concrete results despite significant ambiguities in the problem space.
An active TS security clearance is required.
Specific skills within the Active Electronically Steered Array (AESA) domain include:
- Expertise in Applied Electromagnetics
- Strong analytical and modelling skills are highly desirable
- Ability to conduct antenna design trades to drive affordability solutions
- Experience with RF propagation models, radar, Communications, EW and EA system concepts
Preferred Skills:
- AESA design, development and test experience
- Understand and anticipate trends in future threat system capabilities
- Effectively document and communicate designs, results, reports and presentations
- A strong interest in learning new skills and collaborating on new products
The candidate will have strong, oral presentation skills and the ability to publicly speak clearly, and comfortably, with the acuity to convey highly technical subject matter in a concise and intuitive fashion. The successful candidate will also have a proven track record of accomplishments working with the DoD S&T community.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
