The ServiceNow Developer and Administrator will be responsible for the development and day to day administration of the ServiceNow implementation supporting Fidelity's Corporate Onboarding.
Responsibilities
Perform day to day administration of ServiceNow instances, including changes to process, workflows and items, building reports, managing data, personalizing lists, content management
Design, prototype, implement, and test technical solutions for ServiceNow implementations
Develop custom integration components (SSO, LDAP, etc.) and integrate legacy systems with ServiceNow using mid-server, web services, email and other relevant technologies
Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions
Create and use update sets to move customizations between ServiceNow instances
Perform installation and testing of vendor-provided updates and new releases
Provide technical support and answer how to technical and application configuration questions
Skills/Knowledge
Deep functional and technical knowledge of the ServiceNow platform with special emphasis on Service Catalog, CMS and CMDB
Proven success in implementing enterprise ServiceNow implementations
Knowledge and understanding of software architecture principles, specifically for portals, web sites and systems integration projects
Demonstrated strong knowledge in the following:
o Java & JavaScript, AJAX and Jelly
o HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS
o Service Oriented architecture and web services integration (SOAP, WSDL, REST)
o Relational databases and SQL
Demonstrated project execution skills and experience working directly with customers and clients
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently with limited supervision under deadlines
Education and Experience
5-7 years of experience with large-scale systems development
3-5 years of experience implementing and administrating ServiceNow solutions
Experience with Cloud / Virtualized / SaaS implementations
ServiceNow Administrator Certification and/or ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certifications a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field
