Entry Level Product Support

Great opportunity to join a leader in the industry, in Hardware Configuration Management.
This is and entry level position , no clearance required.
Provide Hardware Configuration Management (CM) support under the direction of a CM Lead. You will perform assigned duties associated with drawing change management and other related duties.
You will interface with Engineering and Manufacturing representatives and work as part of a greater program team. Prepare and distribute Configuration Control Board (CCB) packages, including agendas and minutes. Coordinate the CCB under the direction of the CM Lead. Perform various tasks in support of internal/external configuration audits and other program milestones.
Maintain records of work in progress and provides status to the Configuration Manager. Inform CM of impending delays or difficulties affecting commitments. Manage the controlled drawing repository using the company standard tool (PDM) and prepare lists and reports as required. As well as coordination and electronic distribution in PDM of engineering changes and new/revised drawings to the Program Team.
Review drawings/documentation for completeness and accuracy. Implements appropriate actions to correct discrepancies. Utilize database applications such as PDM and Oracle to perform tasks. Hardware aptitude with related experience in some of the following areas including reading engineering documentation such as drawings, parts lists, formats, design and manufacturing notes/build procedures.
Experience / Skills Required
Understanding of ECOs, BOMS, methodized process sheets.
Excellent communication & organizational skills.
Attentiveness to complete accurate work.
Punctuality to assigned tasks and ability to work within a team environment.
Experience with technical drawings/documentation and product structures.
Solid understanding of MS Excel and Word.
Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast moving, environment.
Preferred
In-process or incoming inspection, applications of PDM/Oracle, focused factory area, and manufacturing floor operations.
Understanding of PC applications, MS Office, PDM or equivalent, Oracle knowledge optional.
Understanding of Manufacturing/Operations processes is highly desirable.
Education
Technical Degree or High School Diploma with related experience.
