Description:
We are looking for an experienced (5-7 years) Senior Performance QA Engineer to assist us in the performance characterization and certification of mission critical A? rated applications which are associated with customer and employee login to our systems. Knowledge of multiple application infrastructures and operating systems as well as experience using HP LoadRunner is required. In addition, our team is also responsible for the ongoing reporting and analysis of capacity related data from production for those applications / systems. So any experiences in this area are a big plus.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test strategies and plans that verify that applications and systems under test meet expected SLA?s (such as response time and transactions per second (TPS)
Using HP LoadRunner, develop and execute tests that exercise the applications / systems under test in areas such as capacity, longevity and stress.
Troubleshoot performance and environment related issues in a complex and distributed login environment
Communicate performance testing results with interested parties such as project manager, developers and senior management as well as rendering an opinion of whether the product under test is ready for production
Participate with the rest of the team in the gathering and analysis of capacity related data from production and subsequent recommendations to make sure that headroom, TPS and response times SLA?s are being met in production.
Qualifications:
BS or equivalent in Computer Science or related discipline.
5-7 years of prior Software Quality Assurance experiences in a performance related area
Thorough understanding of Solaris and LINUX operating systems, internet principles and statistical data analysis
Hands on experience using HP LoadRunner
PERL scripting and / or JAVA coding experience a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
