The individual will need to be able to work with the product and project teams to understand the requirements, design test strategies, write test cases, tracking test results, write status reports and provide recommendations to the team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Be an active participant in the overall team objectives and improvement initiatives
Be an advocate for quality throughout the project life cycle
Working directly with business partners and development partners to understand requirements
Providing guidance to team lead regarding estimates for testing efforts
Develop and execute test plans; identifying, communicating, and proactively manage project risks
Writing and executing test cases
Enter defects in defect tracking tool
Schedule and facilitate effective defect triage meetings
Report testing results to management - communicate plans, project status, project risks and project metrics to all levels of the project team including our supporting teams as applicable
Provide input for go/no-go decisions
Identify improvements to the testing process
Travel to Boston to work with client teams - once every 2 weeks
QTP automation experience (ability to create scripts from scratch)
Bachelor's degree
5-7 years of Quality Assurance experience
Solid experience running SQL queries
SAHI automation experience (a plus)
Prime or Securities Finance knowledge a plus
Ability to work in a dispersed team supporting multiple customers
Professional communication, written and verbal
Excellent collaboration and influencing skills
Keys to position:Candidates must be able to create QTP scripts from scratch. Experience with modifying/editing/record & playback will not be strong enough.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
